Ok, so if I misjudged the point of this, and the point is simply to move to a freer state, why the heck don't you just MOVE to a freer state instead of immigrating en masse? Nothing anybody has said in this thread has alleviated the discomfort I feel over a humongous group of people with no personal stock in specifically New Hampshire moving here with the stated aim of influencing its social and political climate.

Again, to clarify, I'd probably be quite pleased with the type of influence Free Staters would have here, and normally I'm not the least bit cold about immigration to New Hampshire. But normally when people move here, it's not with the intention of commandeering part of the state's steering wheel from the people who have significant personal stock and investment in New Hampshire as a state, economy, and community.

Maybe I'd feel differently if the Free State Project was all about New Hampshire from the first. But this is more like "It doesn't matter what state, so long as it fits our agenda," and New Hampshire just happened to come out on top, so let's go bombard the place. Thanks guys.
