So the reason the Free Staters aren't taking over is because it's not possible to do so? That's reassuring.

We're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. You may lack the numbers to take over, but I maintain that if you're immigrating en masse with people you have otherwise no connection with, to a state you wouldn't even personally choose to move to without, with the express intention of wielding active influence to further your ideals through what force of numbers you can muster, this is no better than a "take over mentality," if indeed it is any different at all. Rationalize it differently to yourself if you will, but I've seen nothing in this thread to allay my resentment.
