My other main haunts are an "underground hip-hop" site, where I can gripe and moan about how commercialized thug rap sucks; and a "marriage issues" site, where I can smugly reflect on how the little foibles of my relationship are squat compared to the dozens of people who all somehow managed to marry the biggest jerkwad of all time.

More seriously, I found that the article made for very interesting reading. The author's conclusions seemed to be on point. The two aforementioned web sites are consistently moderated and have core groups of intelligent regulars who exert a civilizing influence on the more hotheaded posters. I like that model. It does seem to work well.
