First, I think you may be getting some bad information. I'm married to a news junkie and I haven't heard anything about bad feeling between the US and Canada.

It bothers me hearing people refer to "Americans" as if they are only those people who live in the United States. Last time I looked at the map, North and South America included a number of other countries.

But I have to admit that some people in this country don't practice what they preach. Freedom of speech is one of the corner stones of the United States, but some of our citizens object when people speak freely. I guess they should read their own constitution.

Some people think I am anti-war, but it isn't just that. I'm really anti-anything that kills people. I have a trip to Canada in the planning stage, and it has nothing to do with war, or politics. I think it's the exchange rate.

And I don't think you have to worry about Canadian cars down here. America has equal-oportunity vandals. They are just as likely to mess up my car as yours.
