Sometimes reading the ingredients on the package can be scary. Other times it can be funny. I have no idea why I keep doing it, but the other day I read the ingredients on a package of "creamy pralines" that my daughter bought in New Orleans. One ingredient was "whole pecan halves." I have to assume that wasn't written by a math major.

Speaking of New Orleans, I know four different ways to pronouce that city's name. So in a conversation with my "up north" sister, I tried switching from one New Orleans to another until she got a little confused. I've been known to pull the same dumb trick on perfect strangers.
