I'm typing this by the light of a candle and a pretty weak flashlight. We've been having a pretty nasty wind storm. Our house and the power lines giving power to our house withstood the 80 mph winds, now it's gotten down to about 50 mph, but the the power is out nonetheless. It's actually pretty exciting. This is the first time in about 6 years that the power has gone out while it is dark. My laptop is running on the battery, and that's why I'm still on the computer. As soon as it dies, I'll have no connection with the outside world; I won't even know what time it is.
