Why does everyone hate the Romulans and worship the Vulcans so much? It doesn't make any sense. They both used to be the same race, and then one guy was all "Hey, emotions suck. Let's suppress our emotions and try not to feel anything." Then some other guys were all "That's stupid" and left the planet. So the guys who took the psychologically healthy choice became the enemies of the entire galaxy, and the freaks who turned themselves into robots because they didn't feel like getting sad anymore were revered all over? This is insane. If I'd been around when they split, I'd've joined the Romulans.

And, by the way, how likely is it that half of the aliens in the universe would name themselves after Greek mythological characters? Don't tell me it's just coincidence that the two Romulan homeworlds are Romulus and Remus.
