Timmy H's (as they're fondly called up here) are ubiquitous in my neck of the woods. I've never travelled anywhere without being seeing one. You don't really have to look hard - find the nearest exit next to a major highway, and there will be a Tim's there.

Tim's causes lots of marital stress in my family. I have one brother-in-law who has an extra large coffee there EVERY DAY - weekends, holidays, even CHRISTMAS are not exempt. His wife thinks it's nuts, and resents the time/energy/money put into the trips, especially on weekends and holidays. I have another in-law who lives way too close to a Tim's, and periodically has way too much caffeine, causing her to clean/cook/nag maniacally until she settles down. I personally had to wean myself away from Iced Cappucinos. It was becoming problematic, and I was considering a self-help program.

My personal theory is that they put some addictive property in their coffee. That would be a logical explanation, at least.
