After watching the HK action flick "Purple Storm", with it's ex-Khmer Rouge elite terror cell father/amnesiac son/police trying to avert a disaster triangle plot, I worked out why they produce movies like this.

One day, a load of executives sat down and had a brainstorming session and wrote down a load of ideas for a movie. They just forgot to edit it.
