The Texans use "you all" exactly like outsiders use "you." It's usually plural, but can be singular with equal ease. And it's entirely impossible for one to argue with a Texan, telling her that "you all" should be more than one fellow. In general, it's unwise to suggest that Texans do anything wrongly.
