This is enough to drive an old geography buff batty. I searched your post for clues to the location of "The Delta," but was unable to pinpoint it. Deltas created by multiple rivers are relatively rare, unless you count tributaries that join the mainstream above the mouth. Most rivers break up into a fan of distributaries when they form a delta, so I thought you might be referring to those. The mention of the Pacific Ocean was not a very good clue since Europe and Africa are the only continents that don't touch the Pacific Ocean.

I found a Lodi in California, a relatively delta-free state, and sure enough, there is a delta of sorts in the area, but it is many miles inland and empties into San Pedro Bay. I sort of assume that a delta will be on a coast line. There are also several other Lodis listed in my Atlas.

And I have never heard of the Memphis Grizzlies. If they are a sports team of some type from Memphis, Tennessee, then it is possible that I would not know of them since I live at the other end of the state, and don't follow sports played with a ball. On the other hand, there are lots of other cities named Memphis.

Without doing a search, I can't remember who on this forum lives where, but I think I do remember some Rinkies in the area near Stockton. Is that you?
Howard
