The American and Consumnes river and many others also add to it with most of them coming out of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The two major rivers flow through the Central Valley of California where most of our agriculture is located. This includes some of the best and most abundant areas for wine grapes, much more than Napa. See the link below for a map.

So I found it, but didn't know that I did.
I am going to have to spend more time in Northern California. I know my way around between San Jose and the Mexican border, but there is almost a whole 'nother state up there that I haven't seen.

Don't teams usually change their names when they move to an area where the name no longer fits? I think the Tennessee Titans, (football, maybe?) used to be the Houston Oilers or something like that. But there is on oil in Nashville. I think they should be the Tennessee Pickers. (cotton, banjos, etc.) Nashville has sulfur wells, so . . . . No, I don't think I want to go there.
