I was wearing about five layers of varying waterproofness and it still got through to my skin.

I think I'll go with spending Sunday afternoon (this last one) on a freezing cold hilltop in Sheffield cheering, doing a really great impression of the Mitchelin man as I was wearing that many layers of clothes but still managed to loose feeling in my feet and get caked in mud
