I don't put an iota of stock in any value of fortune cookies except as entertainment, but somehow it's still a pet peeve of mine when fortune cookies don't tell fortunes.

The best thing about fortune cookies is you can rig them for payoffs in magic tricks. After the mark laughs at you for not finding his card, it is always nice to see his face when he gets to the end of his meal and reads: "Your card was the three of clubs."
