Oh, YES to the Indiana Jones thing. Also Han Solo. The year Star Wars came out, it marked me as somebody who would spend a large part of my time pretending to shoot people with blasters and attempting to project an aura of insufferable Corellian cool, despite being six years old, female, and Wookieeless.

Occasionally I would be Luke, because I also had a long cardboard tube which made an awesome lightsabre (even though lightsabres aren't normally supposed to fold in the middle when you whack Darth Vader too hard) or Leia, because I liked the dress and the hairdos, but they were never really any major competition.

By the time Return of the Jedi was released, I was old enough to start finding Han Solo hot instead of just enviable, but I still wanted the Millennium Falcon and the general lifestyle.
