If I'd dropped engineering when I really seriously thought about it, I'd still be in school right now, and probably so deep in debt that I'd be eating Kraft Dinner daily (just like what happened when I was still in school). I can't say for sure that the "stick it out" solution is for you, of course, because your situation isn't mine, but as Dave said, if you're not failing, what can it hurt?

While I can understand why Monkeyman and Dave said what they said, I tend to be on the other end. I switched majors twice in college. I started off in Pharmacy, something I wanted to do all my life, or so I thought. But it SUCKED. It was so not what I thought it would be. So, after a year I switched to accounting. Bad move. After a half a year I switched again to Systems Analysis. It wasn't easy to switch, but needed to. And it has since paid off.

Of course being in your third year, I can see how it would be harder at this point. Any chance you can get your Associates in the field you're in now and then continue in something else for your Bachelors? That way at least you'd have a degree if the switch proved a bad move.

Just something to think about.
