I don't see why we should separate heat, cold (aren't those the same receptors), pain, pressure, and being-able-to-tell-if-something's-sticky into separate senses. They're all just specialized factors of touch.

I have this sixth sense about when somebody is standing behind me. I know they are there. It's almost like the twilight zone. It works better if there is a mirror in front of me, or if they have a shadow in the right place.

I also have a thing about food. Even if it is too far away to smell it or see it, I home right in on food. Some of the clues that I use are neon signs or the ringing of a dinner bell. How's that for twilight zone senses?

I also have no trouble finding trouble, and accidents seem to find me. That reminds me of a joke, but I'm not going to tell it. Well, I guess I might as well, because if I don't, somebody will hit me with rule 6. My sixth sense tells me then rule 6 is coming.

It seems that a cowboy out in Texas was applying for some life insurance and the insurance guy was asking him some routine questions.
"Have you ever had any accidents?"
"No."
"Have you ever been in the hospital?"
Yes. Once when a horse kicked me and another time when I was bitten by a rattlesnake."
"Gosh, Man. Don't you call those accidents."
"Naw. They done it on purpose."

OK, that is probably in "Really Bad Jokes" but you can't expect me to remember the all, can you?

My sixth sense is telling me that I have strayed from the subject.
