We have different types of receptors for color vision and for black-and-white vision, but we still consider that one sense. I don't see why we should separate heat, cold (aren't those the same receptors), pain, pressure, and being-able-to-tell-if-something's-sticky into separate senses. They're all just specialized factors of touch.
