...mostly stressed, is what I'd guess, especially if this is your first year of college. Which is understandable.

Your restlessness seems like it's part of that "fight or flight" reaction that we experience when under pressure, *not* the boredom type of restlessness. If you were just bored, why would your emotions build up to the point ot tears? (Being bored to tears *is* just an expression :-))That's why I think, must be stress.

And also, as far as the other part of it goes, my other thought is that maybe you connect the whole thing to creativity because being creative is your way of dealing with/outlet for stress? That works for me sometimes.

Stess can be caused by both bad & good things in your life, and can be cumulative, (depending on how a person is able to process it). So even though "nothing is happening at the moment" you could still be overstressed but not really realize it.
