As I promised Howard, here's my post about the trip home.

First of all, I checked my mileage, and it was at 5431, which meant the trip there was 1014 miles altogether.

I took off at 5:30 a.m. I knew I wanted to get home at a reasonable hour because I had to work the next day, Wednesday.

5:48 am -- Stopped to fill up before I got on the highway. Mileage: 5434. 4.852 gallons of gas, and a Mountain Dew for breakfast.

I didn't take the same route home because I didn't feel like going through the winding Vermont Roads, so I went through Massachussettes. It was a route I was much more familiar with and I could certainly go faster.

7:04 am -- Had to stop for a restroom break. I should've just refilled on gas while I was there, but I noticed that a lot of kids were out on the street I had pulled over on and just knew if I wasted any more time, a bus would come by and I'd be waiting behind it forever just to get back on the highway.

10:00 am -- Time for another gas stop. Mileage: 5605. 7.186 gallons of gas and that's it.

1:15 pm -- Stop for gas and a small lunch. This time I opted for a McDonald's fish filet. And while it comes with cheese also, I don't taste it. So no fallen pieces of cheese this time. 6.268 gallons of gas. Mileage: 5813

5:38 pm -- Yet another gas stop. Mileage: 6094. 7.0?? gallons of gas (forgot to write all of it down). Got some dinner. Just a large fry from Wendy's and a Sprite. Didn't want to eat too much and get really tired like the trip there.

8:37 pm -- Finally pulled into my garage and made 2 phone calls to let people know I was home. First to Sam and Leen, then to my mom. Mileage: 6288.

I don't remember as much from my trip home as I did from the way there. Probably because this one was much more uneventful. I prefer it that way. I did have my kettle corn with me, which I ate in between gas stops. And there were 10, TEN!!!!, toll booths on the way home.

The vacation itself was awesome. I played Zelda and beat 2 boss monsters. I read 13 chapters of the first Harry Potter book. I went to an awesome Ren. Faire, and enjoyed it even thought it was FREEZING. Hehe. I saw a lot of beautiful trees that had turned awesome shades for the fall. Sam and Leen told me that the trees hadn't turned as soon as they usually do, and I missed the real beauty by probably a week or so, but I didn't mind. It was still more beautiful than what we have around here. I loved it.

We also watched some great old movies. Sam rules at picking movies that he knows I'll like, but will probably never get to see at home. We watched four (all excellent movies):
Bringing up Baby
Charade
What's up, Doc?
Wait Until Dark

I also got to see Leen ride Timmy. Timmy rules. He is a beatiful horse and it was nice to see Leen ride him. I got to feed him also and the picture of that rules.

After the Ren Faire, Sam, Leen, Jaguar and I visited ahmoacah. Her house is awesome and she is always fun to get to talk to. It was a blast just sitting around chatting about nothing in particular. I wish I lived closer so we could do that all the time. Real live chat rooms. Hehe

Ok, that's about all I feel like posting about the trip, but if I missed anything Sam, Leen, Jaguar and ahmoacah can feel free to add it.
