Really? It's one of my favourite months of the year. Of course, it does contain my birthday, but that's not the only reason:
- The trees around where I live don't just go orange, they go a multitude of autumnal colours - not forgetting the evergreens. This makes October the most colourful month of the year.
- It may be cold and damp, but at least it isn't freezing or boiling like August or November. I also quite like the rain (and yes, people do call me mad because of it).
- No-one around where I live goes Hallowe'en crazy. I think that's to do with the fact that everyone goes Guy Fawkes Night crazy, five days later. And also that trick-or-treaters are likely to have the tables turned on them.
Maybe I'm just prejudiced because, to me, October=Presents, but otherwise I think that October is one of the best months of the year.
