I'd imagine that there's a big difference in the marketing of cars between the US and the UK - the fact that I thought half of the cars you mentioned were actually obscure cocktails pretty much confirms this...

Left hand drive would be really odd to me. Especially operating the gearstick with my right hand. But apparently the pedals are arranged the same way - I would have thought the clutch, brake and accelerator would have been reversed.

We have specially-trained teams of monkeys who prowl the streets at night who carefully hammer out all the dents of the previous day. Best thing the government ever invested in.
