My wife was having one of her cleaning fits the other day and decided to clean out the Junk Drawer. (Oh yes you do. Everybody has one. It's required.) It isn't unusual to dig a few mysterious objects out of a JD, but this time she found one that cries for an explanation. It was a small, sealed plastic bag. Inside there were two plastic handle-like objects and a card that read: "These extensions are strictly for use with other waste baskets. They are not intended for and will not fit the included waste basket." OoooooooK. Uh. Now let's see. What the heck are they talking about? Neither of us can remember ever seeing them before, but as everybody knows, JD's grow their own junk when the house is dark and quiet. But on the outside chance that the handles, or whatever, came with a new waste basket, then what. . . . why? It's too much for my brain. Any ideas?
