The thing is, most people don't want to have a beautiful car. They want a box that pootles from A to B and back again.

I'm not a car buff myself, but I can appreciate that some cars just exude class. I'd love to own one, but I feel like I'd never have the time or the ability to take proper care of it.

As for modern cars with style, I think a lot depends on how they're presented. If I mentioned the Peugeot(spelling?) 406, and then mentioned spoiler kits, you might cringe in horror, but if I said "the car from the movie "Taxi"" then most people would nod in approval.

Hence why people look at the TVR Cerbera in awe. It looks gawky, but is beautiful in motion.
