Thanks for the information. I think I might just go for it. However, I have never been one to stay "current" on anything, so I wonder what differences I can expect from the updates. As for popping up, I have so much stuff doing that, I'm sure I won't notice. In a previous life, before Stratvirus, this computer always said "Checking for updates," when I booted up. Is that the same thing? After Updates and Critical Updates, I guess Very Critical Updates will be next. I wonder when Ultra Critical Updates will come along. Thanks for the input. I used to depend on my grandson for this kind of support, but he has a driver's license now and we hardly ever see him. Howard
