Very customizable, you can delete or edit unwanted posts, close topics, ip ban people, move topics from one board to another, give others the ability to do the above, assign custom titles, make multiple boards, set each board as having HTML allowed or not... Those who are registered as being board members can have a small picture beside the name and/or a larger picture under, append a signature to the bottom of each post, and probably more.

All of this reminds me of my former website host.
I started my site at Homestead because it was free. That worked pretty well for a while, but then they decided to collect a $29.99 annual fee. They offered an introductory discount at $19.99 for the first year. That was reasonable, considering that they spoke of improvements, so I opted in and paid the $19.99. That is when the darned thing stopped working. Twice they rewrote their software and both times it locked me out of my website. Once, I was out for four months.

Well, the first year ended, but the $29.99 fee became $69.99. They said the sent a notice, but I didn't see it. Suddenly there was that big ugly number on my credit card bill. I called their 800 number and it was half an hour on hold before I got to talk to someone. That indicates to me that I was not the only one who felt flimflammed. They were fairly nice about it, but basically, they said tough luck sucker, we have you for at least a year even if you cancel your site now. Naturally, I canceled it.

This tactic is called "bait and switch" in the retail sector. The only difference is that the retailer offers you a low, low price to get you into the store, and then tries to sell you a more expensive deal.

I'll let you know how it comes out, but I don't think they are going to con me out of $69.99.
