I'm more likely to think that the average Rinky-dink is that unable to evaluate himself. It's too bad I can't survey the world to see how Rinkies measure up, but Rinkies, except for generally being readers, are pretty diverse. I can see things like intelligence and vocabulary being skewed high for Rinkies, but the rest? I don't think so.

One can be objective about anything but oneself.
