Around these parts we've had some pretty weird local ads for a furniture outlet store.

I remember one commercial featured a crazy guy with a chainsaw carving up off-camera recliners, saying they were slashing prices, and a recent one where the guy dresses up as Batman and runs around in a panic while the voice-over screams "FIRE SALE! FIRE SALE!"
