Mainboard/overheating problems?

Try to disconnect all peripherals (except the speaker) and boot only the mainboard.
Does it beep for other reasons than the missing VGA?

Insert the video card and boot again.
Check if memory is correctly tested.

Connect the hard drive and try to boot again.

Insert/reconnect all devices one at a time and boot. Maybe the problem is not on the m/b itself but on one of the expansion boards. Doing this should spot out any serious problem on them.
