i actually wasn't close to her at all. i suppose i just can't understand what makes people do the things they do in spite of all they've suffered.

but, i suppose it's not always meant for me to understand. the world is crap, but i'm still a part of it. people suck, but i'm still human.

i can't change the world, but at least my eyes are open and my heart is breaking. some people never even get that far.
