Well, my second party is now a bit less experienced than your party above, and they managed to get the Bronze Key on level 7. But they had help from my first party: 2 Knight's Suits, 1 Rogue's Cowl, 4 Wands and 1.4 million gold.
If you have enough money to keep resurrecting your whole party every time you explore outwards from town, go right ahead to level 7. Otherwise, stay at level 6 until you amass enough money.
