But they wouldn't be if (1) I didn't want to see what the monsters were like even though my people were at full strength and (2) my sorcerer would have cast HOME before they were killed. Is there anyway that I can decide who will do what first or is it just completely random? > > > > > > Characters with higher Agility usually go first. I think there's a certain element of randomness, but higher Agility will make a character tend to go first most of the time. There are more Items of Agility for Assassins/Knights/Rogues than for Sorcerers/Wizards/Druids, so that's why you usually see spells at the end of the round. > > > > > > ^v^:)^v^ > > > FB > > > > That doesn't seem fair. My sorcerer can kill those stupid birds that blow fire or ice at me so easily but my wizard has to go first. Yeah, it's typically harder to get casters to go early in the round, cause you want their IQ/Wisdom at 30, so you don't think to assign many points to Agility. They also can't use Gloves of Agility or Boots of Agility. But get their Agility up to 30, and they'll be able to cast QUAKE faster than nine Dracoliths can breathe whatever it is they breathe.
Also, Druids take forever to learn spells. In my new party, W plus and W minus both knew Sorcerer spells, and since I want all six of my bosons to know all spells, and I have one of each class at a time, I retrained one as a Wizard and one as a Druid. The Druid is taking forever to learn the same damn spells that the Wizard knew by level 17. They learn them on Druish time.
