I'm always seeing all these commercials: get rid of your dandelions with this weed killer! You'll never have dandelions again! Get rid of these unsightly weeds! etc. Why would you want to get rid of these lovely flowers? They're my favorite color and they add color to an otherwise monotonous yard. Plus, you can eat their leaves in the summer, make dandelion wine, and make a wish with their fluff. I love dandelions and I think we should make an effort to preserve these valuable specimens!
