1. Try drawing a simple map of the central campus, and mark all the places where the cars are -- it will be easier to just solve the problem on paper than to try over and over in the game. Try to circle around, not having to travel far from each car to the next, rather than going back and forth a lot.

2. Luna's advice was to start at the parking lot just to his east (where the nerds hang out).

3. DON'T examine the in-game map between activating the bombs. Don't even look at the game status or examine any items in your inventory. The reason this is bad is that the AGLL code that causes your timer to count down executes each time the location code is executed -- i.e., it happens on EVERY turn, not just those turns where you actually select an option. I could have written it to behave a little nicer in this respect, and now that I think about it I could even have done it without copying all the decrement code into each option block (I'm doing something similar in SOAT).

1. Make sure you've thoroughly explored the room first and done all the "preparations" that you can.

2. Try to move the rat towards the middle of the room. Something different will happen when it gets far enough. To reach that point, you need to take into account that the direction the rat moves depends on which direction *you* approach it from, so you might need to back off and move around to another position sometimes.
