Saw the movie on Sunday night, and it really didn't feel like a 3 hour movie at all!!!
I missed some of the parts from the book, such as more about Lorien and some more about Aragorn, but I was so happy they cut out Tom Bombardil, but this is contentious issue between a friend of mine and I, who thinks he's a God??? Go figure....
I loved the fight sequence between Gandalf and Saruman, Christopher Lee and Ian MacKellen were quality pieces of casting, I really can't fault this film except that I have to wait a year to see how they've treated The Two Towers.....
