I don't think rap qualifies as music, so we're safe there, but will the futures regard Donna Summer the same way we regard Wolfgang Mozart? What a peculiar thing to think about.

Well, we really don't have to worry about bad classical music, since all the really horrible classical stuff was sort of lost (intentionally or otherwise) 200 years ago anyway.

I think 70's Disco as a genre itself isn't bad. It's what disco evolved into -- late 90's House music, or what's simply called Dance music -- which is monotonously aggravating beyond the pale. How did Iss phrase it delicately?

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

and so on. Ugh.
