In about 1970 I was driving through Colorado. At a place called "Rabbit Ears Pass," my engine blew. It was a couple of hours before a tow truck got there and we had to stay in the car with the windows rolled up to keep from being eaten alive. Down a bank below the road, we could see some beaver ponds which looked like perfect mosquito factories. You might want to drive up there* sometime about the last week of June. It's a beautiful area but keep the wondows closed.
