Regional/State differences:

Colorado doesn't have a mosquito season at all. On the other hand, hiking and biking season runs all year long. You just add more layers the lower the temperature falls. Bear season runs roughly from April to November. Our leaf season is very odd this year. About a third of the trees have barely started turning, if at all. About a tenth are completely bare already, with the rest somewhere in between. Another season is almost here; it comes with the first acumulation of snow. It's the "Look out for the people who moved here over the summer and have never driven in snow before" season.
