Jumping on the bandwagon...Happy birthday to both of you! =)

About the laptops - my new Dell laptop was pretty good about not getting very heated at all at first, and I loved it for that. But later, when it gets a lot older, it starts to get warmer and warmer. I usually try to keep in elevated so the heat doesn't ruin anything. Also, I read about a study online that says that laptops on the lap are actually very counter-productive (literally). I don't know if that's true, but it's rather scary.

Of course, my Dell laptop almost got its battery recalled, so I don't know how reliable it is about the overheating (batteries are being recalled because some laptops apparently *exploded*. No joke.) stuff and all.
