In Deanna Durbin's first starring role she plays the youngest and most mischievous of three sisters who plot to get their divorced parents back together. It's a lot of fun with plenty of comic mayhem, and it made an instant star out of Durbin, who went on to become a child star of the calibre of Shirley Temple and had a career that steamed right into her adult years without losing any momentum along the way.
