The Thing From Another World (1951)

Reviews and Comments

Something from outer space lands in the Arctic near an army radar station. They go to investigate, and that's when things start to happen. It sounds like a silly B-movie, but the fact is that the performances are all top-notch, the story exciting, and the suspense almost unbearable. Christian Nyby is credited as the director, but Howard Hawks took over during the production and probably had more to do with shaping the film.
