Reviews and Comments

More of a remake than a sequel, this useless series installment (not that the first film had any greater justification for its existence) again runs through the motions and only generates one or two brief moments of accidental suspense. They're far from worth it.

The movie opens with a protracted flashback of the finale of the previous movie. Then a bunch more nondescript camp counselors congregate and get bumped off. Again, no one figures out what's going on until the last twenty minutes, at which point the heroine has an unwisely handled battle with Jason Voorhees, crazed killer at large. The final moments correlate with those in the original point for point. If it wasn't any good the first time, why do it again?
