Fresh from their success with The Curse of Frankenstein, Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing adapt the classic Dracula story in what is arguably their best in a long line of classic monster movies. Even the special effects hold up today. The likeable Cushing plays Van Helsing, and Christopher Lee makes a fantastic Dracula in a performance reminiscent of Bela Lugosi but reinvented and made his own.
