This inexplicably popular Schwarzenegger vehicle had weak camp potential, the kind of film you laugh at rather than with, right up to the final act, where it loses all credibility with a drawn-out sequence of laughably gratuitous violence. A twisted analogy might be to An American In Paris, where the film builds up to an eighteen minute modern dance sequence. The difference is that An American In Paris isn't stupid.
