The third adventure of Wallace and Gromit involves a run-in with sheep rustlers during a wool shortage. As always, Nick Park's keen eye for detail and low-key humor make this short a classic, and the animation is more spectacular than ever. It's not quite as good as The Wrong Trousers, due to a small number of outrageous stunts, unbelievable even for Wallace and Gromit's quaint world -- yet even under the shadow of its predecessor, A Close Shave is undeniably a claymation classic and first rate entertainment.
