Yes, I'm still in ye olde States of American soil-y goodness -- for a bit longer. I leave my house in about 6 hours, and I probably should get some sleep between now and then.

I just wanted to nose in and, um, hug everybody bye? And also to say one massive THANK YOU to you guys, because there was way more than just financial support to be found hereabouts for this Summer. Thanks to you all for the squeegy YAYS and the overall encouragement and just for letting me tell my HAY GUYS GESS WAT??! story in chat, when I was so excited about this trip, over and over and over... etc. :)

So yeah. One of the millions of things I had on my to-do list before I left was to prep a photoalbum. I printed off about 90 photos, 4x6, to take into my classroom as an ice-breaker dealio (who doesn't like to laugh at their teacher's goofy pics?) -- and also to give the students an image of um, random stuff, I've seen. It was hard to narrow down that massively monsterous piles of photographic detritous to "just" 90 photos. A lot of them are scenery and local buildings, etc, and a lot of them are my family and a good portion are of Western weddings and holidays.

...and a huge, fat lot of them are from RUVI. Because I realized that, beyond the fact that TEH OCAEN and TEH PONIES are pretty to look at: my friends are pretty cool, too. And they deserve to be talked about, and bragged about, and shown to whomever I deem lucky enough to do the "HAY LOOK AT MY SWEET PIX!!" dance with. Cuz, um, they rock.
