I am a low-tech guy. Growing up in poverty made me like the cheap things. Our antique car is a Volkswagen, in its day, one of the cheapest cars on the road. My collection of motor scooters is made up of very basic, cheap transportation. Even the old tractor int he garage is a small, cheaper model.

I've been watching NASCAR races since 1952, and would you believe they are still old fashioned? Those thing still have a carburetor and only two valves per cylinder. How retro can you get?

But I do have some expensive tastes. I like to travel to far away places, and I will go a long way to see a play on a real stage, with a lot of singing and dancing, colorful costumes, and a real live orchestra in the pit.

I don't drink, smoke,or gamble, so I can afford my other weaknesses. I'm still buying a scooter from time to time, using the money I never spent on cigarettes.
