Willette had her second eye surgery today. Fortunately, she only has two eyes, so we have that behind us. She is not seeing very well with the eye that is behind the patch, but the other one, with it's implanted lens seems to be working a little better. However she still can't read small type. That is rough for someone who reads all the time.

I mean *all* the time. Recently, we were driving through the Little River gorge in the Great Smoky Mountains National park and I looked over there and she was reading a novel! OK, I admit that we had been through there before, but reading a novel in one of the most beautiful places in America?

I expect she will be back to normal tomorrow after the follow-up visit to the eye doctor.
