EFSM - stuck

I have apparently "solved" all of the sub-missions, and I can't figure out what to do next. To clarify, I am having trouble getting on the roof (Lorraine Hernandez) and getting access to the truck (Repair Man).
My Inventory is as follows:
Backpack
Earthworm Sample
Lighter
Rust Eater
Soldering Iron
Beaker
Eraser
Mirror
Screwdriver
Wire
Bottle Cap
Fire Map
Nail Polish
Screws
Wrench
Chain
Glue Stick
Nail Polish Remover
Shirt
Chalk
Hot-Wiring Instructions
Photos of Fashion Show
Shoes
I need help on how to either get rid of these people or to stop them from interfering.
