Hello, Melo. You are correct about endings and beginnings. Everytime a door closes, another one opens. Your whole life is made of of phases. Finish one phase and go on the the next.

When I was a kid, my parents moved a lot. I lived in several towns in Kentucky, one in Florida and one in Tennessee. All of that was before I was 16. I always felt sad about leaving the old place, yet I looked forward to the new one.

Three years in Florida was just another phase in my life, but like all other phases it remains a part of me. That was more than 50 years ago, but I can still amuse myself by thinking about it. There were bad times and good when I lived there, but the bad times fade away quickly while the good times remain clear in my memory.

I guess the trick is to always look ahead for the good times. It works for me.
